Samsung Smartphones On The Rise with Galaxy S 4G. The latest addition to the Samsung smartphone range the Galaxy S 4G, gives those die hard Samsung fans plenty to talk about. While 4G says it all for faster internet and downloading this light and ultra stylish phones weighs in at an incredible 118 grams. Browsing up to 21 mbps alone doesn’t make it one of the best smartphones on the market but coupled with GPS, video chat and massive storage of up to 16GB and 32GB on Micro SD, this little smartphone packs quite a punch.

The four inch AMOLED screen in Samsung Galaxy S 4G is clear and delivers a sharp picture with great sound. The pre-loaded movie Inception, gives you a little taste of what the Galaxy S can do. The video player delivers great resolution and supports the most common formats. The 5 mp camera with face detection on the back is more than sufficient for everyday photos and 1.3mp camera in front keeps you connected through video chat. Video recording in HD is an surprizing bonus for all the tech freaks out there although the night mode leaves much to desire.

Multitasking on this Galaxy S 4G phone is a breeze with fast application switching and on screen QWERTY keyboard with a new Swype feature. Slide your finger across the screen to connect the letters and form words. Something to get used to at first but the traditional tapping method is also supported.

Automatically update your status on Twitter with the Write & Go application and the Galaxy S also comes with a dedicated Facebook application for even faster interaction. The Samsung Apps portal and Android Market have loads of supported applications. One of my favorites is the Alkido Ebook application to keep your most loved digital literature with you while on the go. The most used of these applications automatically move to the top of the menu, making this phone even more lovable.

There has been some complaints about battery life and the fact that it is a little more expensive than anticipated but with all these amazing features it is hard not to love this phone. It is said to contend with –the Apple Iphone in some minds and its easy to see why.
