LG Axis, a mid-range Android smartphone has just announced U.S. mobile operator Alltel and LG Electronics. The new smartphone LG Axis is a side slide form factor, and apparently sold rebadged version of LG Ally from Verizon Wireless / LG apex.
LG Axis comes with a QWERTY keyboard, 3.2-inch touchscreen display, Wi-Fi 802.11b, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 3.5 mm headphone jack, and 1500 mAh battery provides up to two weeks in standby mode up to 7.5 hours of talk time.
Axis mid-range LG Android smartphone is based on the Android operating system 2.1 and works on the CDMA EV-DO network.
